84 <br />Resolution No. 1639, appointing Ben Hinds and Herschel McKinney to the Board of <br />Adjustment and appointing Charlie Walker as an alternate member of the Board of Ad- <br />justment, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Rainey and seconded by <br />Councilman Moore that the Resolution be adopted. The motion carried: 6 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1639 . <br />WHEREAS, Dr. C. E. Gilmore and Hubert Westfall have resigned <br />as regular members of the Board of Adjustment, and it is necessary <br />to appoint two regular members to serve the unexpired terms of Dr. <br />C. E. Gilmore and Hubert Westfall which end December 31, 1974; and, <br />WHEREAS, Ben Hinds has been serving as an alternate member <br />of the Board of Adjustment whose term of office ends December 31, <br />1974; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Ben Hinds and Herschel McKinney, be, and they are hereby <br />appointed as regular members of the Board of Adjustment, to serve the <br />unexpired terms of Dr. C. E. Gilmore and Hubert Westfall, respectively, <br />which end December 31, 1974, and Charlie Walker, be, and he is hereby <br />appointed as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment to serve <br />the unexpired term of Ben Hinds which ends December 31, 1974. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of October, 1974. <br />Ja s M.
