296 <br />Resolution ho. 1675, setting time schedules for the sewer plan project, was presented. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Whitaker and seconded by Councilman Rainey for the <br />adoption of the resolution. The motion carried: 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1675 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, has authorized and directed the making of application to <br />the Texas Water Quality Board and the Environmental Protection <br />Ap -ency for a federal grant pursuant to the Federal Water <br />Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, Public Law 92 -500, <br />and the rules and regulations thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-I.E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF P11RIS, That the authorized application for which federal grant <br />assistance is being requested. pursuant to the Federal Water <br />Pollution. Control Act Amendments of 1972, Public Law 92 -500, <br />will be constructed to completion in accordance with the laws, <br />rules and regulations and with the project schedule attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein fo:r all legal purposes. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Paris under- <br />stands that the attached project schedule must be approved by the <br />Texas Water Quality Board and the Environmental Protection <br />Agency, and that once a project schedule has been approved, no <br />changes will be authorized without first receiving approval of the <br />change from the Texas Water Quality Board and the Environmental <br />Protection Agency. <br />Passed and adopted this 24th clay of March, 1975. <br />j�ames M.
