299 i'\esolution Pro. 1676, authorizing the mayor to execute on behalf of the City of Paris addendum tio. 1 to agreement for engineering services heretofore entered into by the City of Paris with ilayter Engineering, dated August 13, 1970, was presented. A mo- tion was made by Councilman Rainey and seconded by Councilinian r400re for adoption of the resolution. '[he motion carried: 5 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 1.676 . WHEREAS, the City of Paris is desirous of development of a project concerned with infiltration /inflow analysis, studies, surveys and evaluations; environmental assessments and evaluations; project coordination; and project development within the guidelines of the Texas Water Quality Board and the Environmental Protection Agency; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did by Resolution No. 1376 passed on the 8th day of June, 1970, commission Hayter Engineering to conduct an engineering study for the enlarge- ment- of the City of Paris Sanitary Sewage "Treatment Plant and re- lated planning; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris, thereafter on the 13th day of August, 1 -970, entered into an agreement with -Hayter Engineering to provide such services; and, WHEREAS, such contract with Addendum No_ 1 attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part thereof, will provide for the engineer - ing services necessary to accomplish the project under consideration; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or THE. CITY OF PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, Addendum No. 1 to Agreement for Engineering Services heretofore entered into by the City of Paris with flayter Engineering, dated August 13, 1970, in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
