302 <br />Resolution I,;o. 1677, commending Georgia B. Bassano for her contributions to the better - <br />ment of the City of Paris, was presented. A motion 4,,as made by Councilman Rainey <br />and seconded by Councilman Hutchison for the adoption of the resolution. The motion <br />carried: 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1.677 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is well aware <br />of the contributions of its citizen, Georgia B. I3assano, and deems <br />it right and proper- that her community services be made_: of re- <br />cord; and., <br />WHEREAS, Georgia B. Bassano has given unselfishly to the <br />affairs of her community by service in the Ding's Daughters, of <br />which she has been a member more than twenty -three years, <br />which is resulting in the International Order of the Icing's Daughters <br />and Sons, Texas Branch Convention being held April 2, 1.975, being <br />dedicated to her; serving as a Ruling Elder and Church Member of <br />the Central. United. Presbyterian Church; and participating in the <br />Chamber of Commerce Community Development Programs; NOW, <br />.1-HEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY" OF <br />PARIS, That Georgia B.
