<br />RESOLUTION NO. 1678
<br />WHEREAS, an election was held by the qualified voters of the
<br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the lst day of April, 1975, for the
<br />purpose of voting for and electing three (3) members at large of
<br />the City Council of the City of Paris to serve for the ensuing two
<br />(2) years, to -wit:
<br />Three Councilmen at Large
<br />WHEREAS, as required by law and directed and provided by
<br />the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Paris, such election was
<br />conducted and held at four (4) specified and designated polling
<br />places, that is, one polling place in each of the four (4) wards of
<br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, sealed returns of said election, made by the duly
<br />appointed and designated election officials of and for the four (4)
<br />respective voting boxes, have been made to the Mayor and City
<br />Council of the City of Paris, as required by law, which returns,.
<br />after due and deliberate review and canvass thereof, show the
<br />following results of said election, to -wit:
<br />(1) IN WARD ONE (1) A TOTAL, OF 752 VOTES WERE CAST
