.r `��392 <br />City Attorney Haynes advised the Council that aviga.tion easement values had been set <br />on two pieces of property adjoining Cox Field and advised that one property owner had <br />not accepted the value. Mr. Haynes advised the Council condemnation procedures were <br />followed and award made by the court, that values had been set at $350.00 per acre, <br />and while appeals might be made, the City had taken possession and improvements were <br />proceeding. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Hutchison and seconded by Councilman Whitaker to re- <br />ceive the report of the City Attorney. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. Robert Hayter appeared before the Council, giving a preliminary report on the <br />infiltration study work now in progress by his firm. Mr. Hayter informed that enough <br />field work had been completed to the extent that his firm could say "excessive infil- <br />tration ". <br />Mr. Ennis Killingsworth, Director of Public Works for the City of Paris, appeared before <br />the Council, stating that higher standards need be set with better inspections and test- <br />ing with house cleanouts installed and lines properly covered where houses were removed. <br />Mr. Hayter advised the Council that it could take two to four years to follow guide- <br />lines before repairs would commence. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Hutchison and seconded by Councilman <br />Moore to accept the report.
