<br />RESOLUTION NO. 1665 .
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did hereto-
<br />fore at its Special Council Meeting on the 30th day of December, 1974,
<br />approve the advertisement for bids for furnishing and delivery of
<br />microfilm equipment for the City of Paris Police Department, in
<br />accordance with detailed specifications dated January, 1975, which
<br />bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday, February 5,
<br />1975; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did hereto-
<br />fore at its Special Council Meeting on the 30th day of December, 1974,
<br />approve the advertisement for bids for furnishing and delivery of
<br />microfilm equipment for the City of Paris, City Hall Administrative
<br />Departments, in accordance with detailed specifications dated January,
<br />1975, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday,
<br />February 5, 1975; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for each of the above described was
<br />made by 3M Business Products Sales, Inc., in the amount of
<br />$16, 220.30 and $8, 296.00, respectively, and it should be awarded
<br />the contracts. for such microfilm equipment; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the forms of contract to furnish the said
<br />microfilm equipment are attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit- B;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, ,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, That the bids of 3M Business Products Sales, Inc. for the
<br />furnishing and delivery of microfilm equipment for the City of Paris .
<br />Police Department, in the amount of $16, 220. 30, and for the furnish-
<br />ing and delivery of microfilm equipment for the City of Paris,
<br />City Hall Administrative Departments, in the amount of $8, 296. 00,
<br />are hereby accepted and let; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
<br />Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
<br />to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract for furnishing
<br />and delivery of microfilm equipment for the City of Paris Police
<br />Department and the contract for furnishing and delivery of microfilm
<br />equipment for the City of Paris, City Hall Administrative Departments,
<br />between the City of Paris and 3M Business Products Sales, Inc. , upon
<br />the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A and
<br />Exhibit B, respectively, attached hereto.
