27L RESOLUTION NO. 1668 . . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Parris did at its Council Meeting on the 10th day of February, 1975, approve the ad- vertisement. for bids for furnishing and delivery of one new 1975 Dump Body for the City of Paris Public Works Department, in accordance with detailed plans and specifications, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, March 5, 1975; and., WHEREAS, the best bid for said equipment was made by Motor Truck Equipment Corp. , 2950 Irving Blvd., Dallas, Texas, 75217, and it should be awarded the contract for such equipment; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish said equipment is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Motor Truck Equipment Corp. , to furnish and deliver one new 1975 Dump Body for the City of Paris Public Works Department, within twenty (20) calendar days, in the amount of $1,464. 51, is hereby accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby a; lthorized and di-- rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with Motor Truck Equipment Corp. to furnish and deliver one new 1975 Dump Body for the City of Paris Public Works Department upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached. hereto.
