Bassano to serve as a member of the Board of <br />Directors of the Faris Public Library for a period of one year or until his successor <br />is appointed, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Rainey and seconded by. <br />Councilman Philley for the adoption of the resolution.. The motion carried: 7 ayes,. <br />0 Mays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1760 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library <br />shall consist of not less than five (5) members nor more than twelve <br />(12) members, in accordance with Section 17 -16 of the Code -of' <br />Ordinances of the City of Paris, and, <br />WHEREAS, Courtney Townsend's term has e -p red as a <br />member of the Board of Directors of the Paz-is Public Library; and., <br />WHEREAS, as required by Section 17 -16, the Board of <br />Directors has heretofore recommended Pat M. Bassano to fill the <br />vacancy; NOW, _[ i !EREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Pat M.
