-7 0 Resolution No. 1763, appointing Don Black as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wil- liams and seconded by Councilman Fisher. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 1763 . WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library shall consist of not less than five (5) members nor more than twelve (12) members, in accordance with Section 17 -16 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, Ben Marable's term has expired as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library; and, WHEREAS, as required by Section 17 -16, the Board of Directors has heretofore recommended Don Black ,to fill the vacancy; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Don Black, a resident of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library through June 30, 1977, or until his successor is appointed.
