Resolution No. 1762, appointing Lee C. Pruitt as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for a term of three years, beginning July 12, 1976, was presented. A mo- tion was made by Councilman Hinds and seconded by Councilman Williams for the adop- tion of the resolution. The motion carried: 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Philley voting nay. RESOLUTION NO. 1762 . WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris and it is necessary to appoint an additional member, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, having appointed Lee C. Pruitt to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 12, 1976 and ending June 30, 1979, and has submitted the name of such person to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the appointment of Lee C. Pruitt, as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 12, 1976 and ending June 30, 1979, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
