Tsxas City Manager Sweatt presented a request.from Billy Hefner for water service outside the City limits and in the "gray area" to be served by the Lamar County Water Dis- trict to Lot 7, Block B, Suburban Estates, and recommended the approval of the re- quest subject to standard requirements and a provision that existing lines be severed from well service and that lines be decontaminated through chlorination process prior to connection to the system. A motion was made by Councilman Sterling and seconded by Councilman Stone' to approve the recommendation of the city manager. The motion. carried: .7 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager Sweatt presented a request from. Mr. Vic Ressler for water service outside the City limits in the "gray area" to be served by the Lamar- County Water Supply Cor- poration and recommended its approval subject to standard requirements and decontami- nation through the chlorination process of the lines prior to connection to the sys- tem. Burrow for water service outside the City limits in the "gray area" to be served by the Lamar County.Water Supply Dis�_ trict located on 45th Street N.:E.. and recommended its approval subject to the stan- dard requirements and decontamination through the chlorination process prior to con- nection to the system. A notion was made by Councilman Sterling and seconded by Councilman Whitaker to approve the recommendation of the city manager. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. On the request of Mr. Ernest Randle for annexation into the City limits, on property located on the Old Bonham Road and Gordon Lake Road, City Manager Sweatt recommended proceedings to comanence on the matter. Ordinance No. 2282: "AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, .TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING." was presented.
