Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Hashmi called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Pastor R.C. Slaughter gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Grossnickle led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />Mayor Hashmi — in response to an article written by Charles Richards, Mayor Hashmi <br />said he wanted to assure the residents of the community that the City Council would not do <br />anything illegal in an executive forum or any forum. Mayor Hashmi said that City Council <br />welcomed suggestions from citizens and said that one of the items on the Agenda was a <br />suggestion by Mrs. Alsobrook, for which he thanked her. <br />Council Member Pickle — he spoke about the Loop Beautification Project and said that <br />approximately 556 Crepe Myrtles would be planted over the next several months beginning on <br />10 <br />
