Paris —Lamar County Health District <br />400 West Sherman treet, Paris, Texas 75460 -5646 <br />C erman Health District: (903) 785 -4561 <br />PuH�"" Women, Infant and Children (WIC): (903) 784 -1411 <br />LTH Fax: (903) 737 -0978 <br />www.parislamarhealth.com <br />Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />Paris - Lamar County Board of Health <br />The Paris - Lamar County Board of Health held a special meeting at 5:31 p.m. on Monday, August 17th, <br />2015. <br />In attendance were Mr. Bill Collins, Dr. Rick Erickson Dr. Mark Gibbons, Dr. Keith House, Mrs. Sharmila <br />Franklin and Mrs. Nancy Stallings. Others in attendance were Mrs. Gina Prestridge and Ms. Cheryl <br />Johnson. Dr. Lance Wyche was not in attendance. <br />Mr. Collins called the meeting to order in open session at 5:35 p.m. <br />Dr. Gibbons made the motion and was seconded by Dr. House to approve the minutes from the prior <br />meeting. All approved. <br />Dr. House nominated Mr. Collins as Chairman and Mrs. Nancy Stallings seconded the motion. All <br />approved. <br />Mr. Collins nominated Dr. Wyche as Vice - Chairman and Dr. Gibbons seconded the motion. All <br />approved. <br />Mr. Collins nominated Dr. House as Secretary and Dr. Erickson seconded the motion. All approved. <br />Mrs. Prestridge advised the board that we need to change the wording in the Policies and Procedures <br />manual, section 4.01 — type of appointment from 40 hours to 30 hours or more per week will be a <br />regular, full -time employee. Mrs. Stallings made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Erickson. All <br />approved. <br />Mrs. Prestridge presented July printout showing that 1,404 patients had been seen at the WIC office, <br />421 patients had been seen at the health district, 3 septic permits and 1 complaints, 37 restaurants <br />and 4 complaints, and 0 reported cases of rabies. <br />Mrs. Prestridge presented the members with the July 2015 Profit and Loss by Class printout showing <br />total income of $114,230.72 and total expenses of $89,490.45 resulting in total net income of <br />$24,740.27. <br />The next regular meeting will be September 21St, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the Paris - Lamar County Health <br />District. <br />Mr. Collins made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Gibbons for the meeting to be adjourned at <br />6:15 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted by: <br />d esf(lJ goknson <br />
