Hashmi, Mayor <br />Legal <br />Counsel: Stephanie Harris, Interim City Attorney <br />City Council <br />Liaison: None <br />Call to Order: <br />Josh Bray, Sanitation Solutions <br />Elizabeth Hollier, Texas State News <br />Katie Morrow, The Paris News <br />Deanna Manning <br />Linda Kapp, McClanahan & Holmes <br />Seth Rutz, Kiamichi Railroad <br />Paul Linck, Turner Industries <br />Mr. Manning called the meeting to order and confirmed a quorum was present. <br />Welcome New Director & Discuss the working relationship between Paris Economic Development <br />Corporation and Paris City Council: <br />Mr. Brockman welcomed the new PEDC Director Michael Paris, on behalf of the PEDC Board and the Citizens <br />of Paris. Mr. Paris thanked Mr. Brockman and appreciated the opportunity to "come here, roll up our sleeves <br />and get to work making Paris a prosperous community ". Mr. Brockman also thanked the Mayor and the City <br />Council for their vote of confidence and support for the PEDC going forward. Mr. Brockman went on to say <br />the Board is eager to move forward in conjunction with city leaders to bring about positive change for the <br />businesses and citizens of Paris. <br />Citizens' Input: <br />Elizabeth Hollier addressed the board saying that she was affiliated with Texas State News and they shared each <br />EDC facebook page in Texas, and had previously requested a change in Paris Economic Development <br />Facebook page from private to public, saying that if she wants to look at the page she must log in to her <br />personal facebook account. <br />
