5. Cheri Bedford, HPO presented the commissioners with information on the campaign "This <br />place matters " Commissioner Alsobrook asked each commissioner to choose a building and <br />be ready at the April regularly scheduled meeting to do some photo's holding the drop pin <br />photo prop. This will be used on Social media using the hashtag #thisplacematters, <br />#myparistexaslife, and #downtownparistexas, and information will be posted on Instagram <br />and City Facebook pages. <br />Action taken: Commissioner Alsobrook will be covering the history of the Lovett Building <br />located at 50 N. Main. Other commissioners suggested Peristyle, JJ Culbertson Fountain, <br />Maxey House, and Paris Junior College. Commissioner Conrad selected the Royal Barbar <br />shop 116 Bonham Street, and has history of the Royal Cafe.
