Central Area Zoning district project. After discussion of this topic, the chairperson of <br />this board stated that the consensus of the board is that "the board appreciated the work of <br />the staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding this project, and that the <br />Main Street Advisory Board has no objections to the uses recommended for deletion, <br />SUP, and/or modified" (and as are currently stated in the adopting ordinance.) <br />3. Historic Preservation Commission. At its March 28, 2016 meeting, city staff discussed <br />the enclosed CA recommendations and a motion was made, and was unanimously <br />approved by the Historic Preservation Commission, to support the recommendation for <br />deletion of certain uses that are currently allowed in the Central Area Zoning District, <br />(and as are stated in the attached adopting ordinance.) <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a public hearing and approve adoption of the amendments to <br />Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 regarding the Central Area (CA) Zoning District as stated in the <br />adopting ordinance as enclosed herein. <br />3 <br />
