<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
<br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
<br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
<br /> PLANNF.D DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) UN LOTS 4A, 4C,
<br /> 41), 4E, 4F, 4G, 4H, AND 41, CITY BLOCK 286, ON PROPERTY
<br /> BELONGING TO NATHAN J. BELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
<br /> TERRiTORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-
<br /> HOUSING DISTRICT (PD-b); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
<br /> THE PLANNED DEVELOPMFNT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) SO
<br /> ESTABLISHED.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
<br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
<br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be, arld the same are hereby changed,
<br /> and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a), be,
<br /> and the same is hereby established on LOTS 4A, 4C, 4D, 4E,
<br /> 4F, 4G, 4H, AND 41, CITY BLOCK 286, on property belonging to
<br /> NATHAN J. BELL, so as to include in such PLANNED DEVELOP-
<br /> MENT-RETAIL DISTRICT (PD-a) the hereinafter described
<br /> property, which was formerly and is prPSently designated as
<br /> a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-HOUSING DISTRICT (PD-b), and that the
<br /> boundaries of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-RETAIL DISTRICT
<br /> (PD-a), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
<br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the
<br /> City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
<br /> Texas, and being a part of the George W. Cox
<br /> Survey #164, and being a part of_ tracts 1 and 2 as
<br /> conveyed Mrs. Lucille Matthiessen by deed recorded
<br /> in Vol. 361, Page 493, and also being the same
<br /> tract of land conveyed James W. Farris by deed
<br /> recorded in Vol. 576, Page 232, of the Deed
<br /> Records of said County and State.
<br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the
<br /> South Boundary Line of E. Price Street at the
<br /> prPSent Northeast corner of said Matthiessen tract
<br /> 1 and the Northeast corner of said Farris tract of
<br /> land;
<br /> THENCE South 1 Deg. 30 Min. West a distance
<br /> of 381 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the
<br /> Southeast corner of said Farris tract of land and
<br /> in the East Boundary Line of said Matthiessen
<br /> tract 2, said point being the Northeast corner of
<br /> a 0.605 acre tract of land conveyed 0. L. Rainey
<br /> by deed recorded in Vol. 610, Page 884, of said
<br /> Deed Records, said point also being North 1 Deg.
<br /> 30 Min. East a distance of 189 ft. from the North
<br /> Boundary Line of Lamar Ave.;
<br /> THENCE North 88 Deg. 29 Min. West a distance
<br /> of 318.9 ft. to an iron pin for corner at the
<br /> Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed
<br /> William M. Harlan by deed recorded in Vol. 347,
<br /> Page 183, of said Deed Records, said point also
<br /> being in the East Boundary Line oil tract 1 as
<br /> conveyed Jack Crenshaw by deed recorded in Vol.
<br /> 288, Page 212, of said Deed Records, said point
<br /> being the Southwest corner of said Farris tract of
<br /> land;
<br /> THENCE along the center of a ditch as
<br /> follows: North 18 Deg. 48 Min. East 50.3 ft.;
<br /> North 28 Deg. 27 Min. East 11 ft.; North 37 Deg.
<br /> 06 Min. West 14.4 ft. ; North 1 Deg. 35 Min. West
<br /> 65.3 ft.; North 16 Deg. 08 Nlin. West 40.3 ft.;
<br /> North 3 Deg. 53 Min. West 42.9 ft.; North 26 Deg.
