ORDINANCE NO. 2064 . AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CFRTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEKATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 25.73 ACRFS, MORE OR LFSS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CIIVT (10976) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRFSENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACIIVT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THE SAME. WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described territory: TRACT 1: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line of the Stillhouse Road that is the present South West Corner of a tract of land conveyed.Richard B. Swint and wife, Susan Brown Swint, by Bessie Lee Haynes, et al, by deed recorded Book 526, Page 880, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; said point being in the present North City Limit Line as established by Ordinance No. 1666, dated April 13, 1964. THENCE S 60° E with the South Boundary Line of said Swint tract and the present city limit line to an ell corner in said City Limit Line at 300 feet and con- tinuing S 60° E with the Swint South Boundary Line to his South East Corner, in all a distance of 1337 feet; THENCE North a distance of 1357 feet with Swint's East Boundary Line to his North East Corner; THENCE N 890 40' W a distance of 672 feet to Swint's North West Corner and the East Boundary Line of Stillhouse Road; THIIVCE N 55° W a distance of 80 feet across Stillhouse Road to a point in the West Boundary Line of said Road; THENCE S 350 W with the West Boundary Line of Stillhouse Road to a point in the present city limit line as established by Ordinance No. 1666; THENCE S 60° E along said present city limit line, crossing Stillhouse Road, a distance of 80 feet to the place of beginning and containing 24.95 acres. TRACT 2: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 271 as established by Right-of-Way Deed from Estelle Council, a widow, to State of Texas, recorded Book 482, Page 268, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being the South West Corner of a tract of la,nd conveyed Nathan J. Bell, et al, by Estelle Council, a widow, by deed dated September 13, 1971. Said point being in the present most Northerly City Limit Line as established by City of Paris Ordinance No. 1569, passed November 13, 1961;
