ORDINANCE NO. 2064 . <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CFRTAIN <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE <br />ANNEKATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 25.73 ACRFS, <br />MORE OR LFSS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CIIVT (10976) OF THE <br />TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRFSENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH <br />SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACIIVT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND <br />PROVIDING ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THE SAME. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were <br />provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed <br />annexation of the following described territory: <br />TRACT 1: Situated in the County of Lamar and State <br />of Texas, and described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line of <br />the Stillhouse Road that is the present South West <br />Corner of a tract of land conveyed.Richard B. Swint and <br />wife, Susan Brown Swint, by Bessie Lee Haynes, et al, <br />by deed recorded Book 526, Page 880, Deed Records, Lamar <br />County, Texas; said point being in the present North <br />City Limit Line as established by Ordinance No. 1666, <br />dated April 13, 1964. <br />THENCE S 60° E with the South Boundary Line of said <br />Swint tract and the present city limit line to an ell <br />corner in said City Limit Line at 300 feet and con- <br />tinuing S 60° E with the Swint South Boundary Line to <br />his South East Corner, in all a distance of 1337 feet; <br />THENCE North a distance of 1357 feet with Swint's <br />East Boundary Line to his North East Corner; <br />THENCE N 890 40' W a distance of 672 feet to <br />Swint's North West Corner and the East Boundary Line of <br />Stillhouse Road; <br />THIIVCE N 55° W a distance of 80 feet across <br />Stillhouse Road to a point in the West Boundary Line of <br />said Road; <br />THENCE S 350 W with the West Boundary Line of <br />Stillhouse Road to a point in the present city limit <br />line as established by Ordinance No. 1666; <br />THENCE S 60° E along said present city limit line, <br />crossing Stillhouse Road, a distance of 80 feet to the <br />place of beginning and containing 24.95 acres. <br />TRACT 2: Situated in the County of Lamar and State <br />of Texas, and described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a point in the East Boundary Line <br />of U. S. Highway 271 as established by Right-of-Way <br />Deed from Estelle Council, a widow, to State of <br />Texas, recorded Book 482, Page 268, Deed Records, <br />Lamar County, Texas, and being the South West Corner <br />of a tract of la,nd conveyed Nathan J. Bell, et al, <br />by Estelle Council, a widow, by deed dated <br />September 13, 1971. Said point being in the present <br />most Northerly City Limit Line as established by <br />City of Paris Ordinance No. 1569, passed <br />November 13, 1961; <br />
