MINUTES OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS OCTORER 06, 2025 The Planning & Zolling Commission of the City of Paris held a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the N.Aty Hall, Council Chambers, 107 East Kaufman, Paris, Texas. Commissioners Present-, Adam Bolton, Rochelle Jones, Chad Lindsey, Robert Spal*n,, Paula Portugal, Eric Guillot City Representativeso. Osei ,mo -Mensal- Director Planning & Community Development Triniti. Frazier- Planning Technician Todd Mittge- City Engineer Clyde Crews- Fire Marshal Commissioner(s) Absent: Larry Walker I . Adam Bolton called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. 2, Citizens' forum. The citizen's forum was declared open. With no one speaking the forum was declared closed. 3,,, Approve minutes from the meeting of August 04, 2025. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Commissioner Chad Lindsey and seconded by Commissioner Eric Guillot. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. 4. Conduct a public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Kenneth Wolfe on behalf of Stephen and Rebecca Showalter for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Retail (R) on LCAD 14044, Legal Description: City of Paris, Block 44, Lot 2, 650 Bonham Rd. Osel' Amo-Mensah presented the item to the commission stating the request also has a zoning change as part of the application. The amendment is in alignment and compatible w ith surrounding areas and the future land use plan. Staff recommends approval. I A motion to approve the comprehensive plan amendment was made by Commissioner Chad Lindsey and seconded by Commissioner Eric Guillott. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. 5.
