Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to follow Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in 90 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 A. 327 E Washington, City of Paris Block 146, Lot 15 Owner: Jan O'Brien Dyke, 731 SE 3rd Paris, TX 75460 Mr. Dyke left a message on Mr. Talley phone that she would like another extension. $1654.66 back taxes owed. Robert Talley tagged this house at the end of 2012. In February he brought it to the commission and the commission gave the home owner 60 days to repair. There have been no repairs done to the property. Robert Talley showed pictures of the property where its roof is peeling and the wood is deteriorating. Mr. Talley explained that this property came to the commission in the past and the property owner said the property was being sold so the commission gave the property owner 90 days to repair the property. The reason the property looks better is because the City of Paris abatement crew cleaned up the property. The structure is unsecure, has deterioration of wood, front porch is rotting, window seals are rotting, cats are living inside the property and the roof is deteriorating.
