Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />J. 436 & 440 SW 2nd, City of Paris Block 176, Lot 14 <br />Owner: Buford Ray Jordan, 444 2nd SW Paris, TX 75460 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley asked to table this property due to a sale is in progress. The closing <br />date is scheduled for June 12, 2013. If the property doesn't sale Mr. Talley will <br />bring it back to the Building and Standard Commission. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation to table the property pending sale. Motion carried <br />unanimously. 4 -0 <br />L. 2722 Bonham, Sperry's 1St Addition, Block 8, Lot Pt 24, 26, All 25 <br />Owner: JD & Jane H Polk, 2722 Bonham St. Paris, TX 75460 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley stated that he has had no contact with the owners but has talked to <br />the daughter. The daughter said they were going to demolish the house and would <br />like to have 30 days to accomplish the demolition. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures where the property is unsecure, it has deterioration of <br />the foundation, the floor is deteriorating, there's missing wood, missing windows, <br />holes in the floor, and the walls are separating. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Vicky Ballard to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />M. 3340 Bonham, Mayer Addition, Block 5, Lot 26 <br />Owner: Michael & June Fagan, 1034 19th NW Paris, TX 75460 <br />$7009.80 back taxes are owed. <br />Mr. Talley stated that property has high grass and weeds, it's unsecure with <br />broken windows and doors, deteriorated roof, windows seals, the foundation are <br />separating, and there's water damage inside the house. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />
