Back <br />Taxes - $8008.77 <br />Robert Talley stated that the owner did sign for the certified letter but he has had <br />no contact with them. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of deterioration along the roof line, the front door <br />is unsecure and will not shut, several of the windows have had rocks thrown <br />through them, there is deterioration at the back of the house, and there is water <br />damage and the ceiling tiles are falling due to this. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Zac Saffle, seconded by Chris Brown to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />F. 1004 Van Zandt, City Block, 175, Lot 11 <br />Owner: Craig & Marilou Scott, 82 S. Magnolia Place, The Woodlands, TX <br />77381. There are no back taxes. <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner but they did sign for the certified <br />letter. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of deterioration at the front of the house on the <br />roof and the front porch, the rafters are starting to push through the roof, at the <br />back of the house the roof has had some repair but there is still a hole. The <br />foundation is rotting and sinking into the ground, there is missing and deteriorated <br />wood and water damage on the inside. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Vicky Ballard to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />G. 825 N. E. 6th, City Block 72, Lot 17 <br />Owner: Inez White, 815 NE 6th, Paris, TX 75460. Back Taxes - $151.01 <br />Robert Talley stated that he has had no contact with the owner but that they did <br />sign for the certified letter. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the roof that is starting to collapse; there is also <br />deterioration of the rafters and broken windows. The foundation is starting to sink <br />and there is missing wood and deterioration of the wood along the foundation. <br />
