Nancy Anderson to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. 102 Clarksville Street — Tots 2 Teens — Karen Jenkins, business owner presented the <br />petition. Ms. Jenkins stated that the information on the sign is no longer correct. <br />They are proposing replacing the sign with a new graphic that displays the correct <br />information. The sign will be the same size and located in the same place as the other <br />sign. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve <br />the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />E. I Lamar Avenue — Robin's Nest — Jeanna Scott, Historic Preservation Officer <br />presented the petition. Ms. Scott stated that Ms. Crabb was unable to represent the <br />petition because she is the only employee and could not close her store. Ms. Scott <br />further stated that the signage has already been installed at this location. The signage <br />does meet the sign ordinance allowable for the business. Ms. Scott stated that Ms. <br />Crabb was informed the sign on the canopy must be removed as it does not meet the <br />requirements. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul Denney to <br />approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />F. 36 Clarksville Street — BFSN Law —Candace Morree, business owner presented the <br />petition. Ms. Morree stated they will be replacing the current sign above the door <br />with the sign presented to commissioners. They also proposing a door graphic, all <br />other signage will be removed. Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Ben <br />Vaughan to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the following Tax Exemptions: <br />A. 136 and 138 Clarksville Street — Cattledrive Steakhouse — Commissioners reviewed <br />the application for Tax Exemption. Motion was made by Nancy Anderson, seconded <br />by Paul Denney to approve the Tax Exemption. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />5. Update, report and discussion regarding substandard structures located in the Historic <br />District by Robert Talley, Code Enforcement Officer <br />A. 24 -26 Clarksville Street <br />Robert Talley made a report to the commission. The structure has gone to Building and <br />Standards on May 21, BSC ordered repair and secure within 30 days. Mr. Talley stated <br />they are still having an ongoing problem with the heirs of the property. Mr. Hagey the <br />managing property owner stated they have had another of the owners sign off on the <br />property. There is still one heir, Cecilia Cox, who according to Mr. Hagey is an heir to <br />the property. Ms. Cox is still stating she has no interest in this property and is not an heir. <br />Building and Standards ordered the property owners to repair and secure within 30 days, <br />if the building is not repaired and secured within the 30 days, the city has the right to do <br />so with a $100.00 a day civil penalty accessed. Mr. Hagey has done some of the required <br />repairs however there are still things that have to be done, this property will go back to <br />BSC in July.
