on the second floor on the west side of the building. These appear to be the <br />original windows and approximately 100 years old, the windows are in such bad <br />shape that we are about to lose the glass out of them. Ms. Bostick further stated <br />they plan to repair the windows to alleviate any hazard to pedestrians. Motion <br />was made by Lauri Redus, seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve the COA. <br />Motion carried 5 -0. <br />B. 308 South Main Street – Britin Bostick representing property owners presented <br />the petition. Ms. Bostick stated they will be painting the trim around windows, <br />and doors. The color they are proposing is not one of the historic colors; therefore <br />we need approval from the commission. The proposed color is called "useful <br />grey" and would be applied to all trim areas and eaves. Motion was made by <br />Douglas Cox, seconded by Lauri Redus to approve the COA. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />S. Consideration of and action on the following Fagade Grants: <br />A. One Lamar Avenue – Scott Building – Motion was made by Lauri Redus, <br />seconded by David Stewart to approve the fagade grant. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />B. 308 South Main Street – Motion was made by Nancy Anderson, seconded by <br />Lauri Redus to approve the fagade grant. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Motion was made by Douglas Cox, seconded by Nancy Anderson to bring Britin Bostick <br />back to the meeting. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />-- CONSENT AGENDA— <br />[Items appearing on this consent agenda may be approved by a single vote of the Commission, <br />with such approval applicable to all items appearing on said agenda. If any Commission <br />member desires to discuss and consider separately any item appearing on the consent agenda, <br />that Commission member may do so by requesting that the item be removed from the consent <br />agenda and considered as a separate item.] <br />6. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and <br />Structures, " to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and <br />designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />A. 109 23rd Street N.
