J. 913 E Polk, Lot 26, Block 1, Gibbon Park Addition <br />Owner: Mary Mitchell, 913 E Polk Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner. <br />Robert Talley has talked to the neighbors and the house is vacant. <br />Robert Talley stated that the property is unsecure, has deterioration, is buckling, <br />has gaps in the structure, and has lots of storage that is being pulled out into the <br />yard by vandals. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />K. 922 SE 5th, Lot 11, City Block 160 <br />Owner: Renford Holmes, 1090 34th SE Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley talked to Mr. Holmes. <br />Robert Talley said there is no ridge cap on the top of the house but that a metal <br />roof was put on the house after the damage. The carport has fallen in and is <br />unsecure. Robert said there is no damage to the inside of the house but it is <br />abandoned. Mr. Holmes wants to repair the structure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to repair the property and if not the <br />property will be brought back to the Building and Standard Commission <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Ryan Lassiter to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to repair the <br />property in 90 days, if not the property will be brought back to the Building <br />and Standard Commission. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />L. 933 Connor, Lot 6, Block 1, Conner Place Addition <br />Owner: Amira M Sudik, 1323 Pine Bluff St. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner. <br />Robert Talley stated that the property has water damage, holes in the roof, <br />deterioration, it's unsecure, holes in the floor, and the structure is leaning. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property.
