Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures <br />considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article 111 of Chapter 7 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled <br />"Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine <br />whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on <br />the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris: <br />A. 260 S. Main <br />B. 347 Bonham <br />C. 515 E. Neagle <br />D. 526 E. Neagle <br />E. 900 block of Clement Road <br />F. 751 Clement Road <br />Items A and B were pulled for separate consideration. Motion was made by <br />Sue Lancaster, seconded by Jerry Raper for Items C through F to be referred <br />to the Building and Standards Commission for demolition since they cannot <br />be rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value. Motion carried <br />6 -0. <br />S.A. 260 S. Main. Lisa Wright received a letter from the owner basically <br />stating that he intends to do nothing, stating that the materials enclosed were <br />those used the last time and that he has no money to do anything. Ms. Wright <br />stated that the next step is to take him to Building and Standards Commission <br />where they can order a board up. Motion was made by Barbara Wilson, <br />seconded by Paul Denney to refer to Building and Standards Commission for <br />a board up of the property. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />5.13. 347 Bonham. Lisa Wright presented photographs of the building with <br />gaping holes in the roof and said she was seeking a repair only. Motion was <br />made by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Arvin Starrett for the structure to be <br />referred to the Building and Standards Commission for repairs to be ordered. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />- - - -- END CONSENT AGENDA - - - -- <br />
