Mr. Wayne Tomblin, 4215 Lakeshore Drive, representing the Church, opposed the petition <br />for mobile home zoning. <br />14. Consideration of and action on the petition of Mario Munguia for a change in zoning <br />from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2), to a One - Family Dwelling District <br />No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 32, City Block 197, being <br />number 1858 Maple. <br />Motion was made to deny by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Motion is made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby Myers to excuse Reeves Hayter. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. Marshall Kent is now presiding. <br />15. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Jim Bell for a change in zoning from a One - <br />Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Commercial District (C), Part of Lots 3 & 4 <br />and Lot 28A, City Block 222 -A, being number 2140 E. Price. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Danny Chance, representing Jim Bell Realtors, spoke in favor of the petition stating that <br />he would like for the entire property to be zoned Commercial. <br />Ms. Margie Bell has interest in the property and wants all property to be zoned the same for <br />Auto Parts Store. She would like for the drive to go back to Price Street and drainage would <br />also be conveyed to the back. There is an old house on Price Street that would be torn down. <br />Mr. John Nabors, 2140 E. Price, opposed the petition. He would like to know if there would <br />be a privacy fence. <br />There was no further opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />16. Consideration of and action on the petition of Jim Bell for a change in zoning from a <br />One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Commercial District (C), Part of Lots <br />3 & 4 and Lot 28A, City Block 222 -A, being number 2140 E. Price. <br />Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby Myers. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />17. Motion was made for Item #26 to be considered next. Motion was made by Curtis <br />Fendley and seconded by Eddie Vincent. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Motion was made for Reeves Hayter to return to the meeting by Bobby Myers and seconded <br />by Vincent Battles. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />18. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Benton Rainey for a change in zoning from <br />an Agricultural District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2), Lot 8, City <br />Block 351, being the 3400 Block Jefferson Road.
