6 . Public Hearing to consider the petition of Mary Lester for a change in zoning from a <br />One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF- <br />3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Part of Lots 2 and 4, Block N, <br />Dohoney - Fuller Addition, being number 1212 West Campbell. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Ms. Mary Lester, 837 18`x' NW, spoke in favor of the petition stating that she has lived there <br />for 30 years and wants a new mobile home at this location. <br />The house that was at this location burned and Misty Lester wants a mobile home moved in. <br />The lot has been cleaned up and she plans to buy a new manufactured home. Her brother <br />lives nearby in a manufactured home. <br />Mr. Marcus Graves, 1120 W. Long, opposed the petition stating that he does not see that this <br />will help home values in the area. <br />Ms. Charlene Mulligan, 226 W. Washington, states that with manufacturing housing hitting <br />and missing —it looks like there is no plan to follow. <br />There was no fi -ther opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the petition of Mary Lester for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 <br />(SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Part of Lots 2 and 4, Block N, <br />Dohoney- Fuller Addition, being number 1212 West Campbell. <br />Motion was made to deny by Vincent Battles and seconded by Bill Coleman. Motion carried <br />by a vote of 6 ayes and 1 nays. <br />8. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Dr. Thomas Charbeneau for a change in <br />zoning from a Planned Development District - Housing Development (PD -b) to a <br />Planned Development District - Office Center (PD-1), Lot 10, City Block 311, being <br />number 3420 Clarksville. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Dr. Thomas Charbeneau, 3065 Pride Circle, spoke in favor of the petition, he wants to move <br />his office to this location which would add to the beautification of the area and possibly have <br />office space for another professional. <br />Mr. DoyleWhitaker, 3000 Margaret, stated that changing the zoning would not conflict with <br />the area. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />
