Water is standing in at least one rOOlll, and sump pumps may be required <br /> <br />in order to alleviate this situation. <br /> <br />EXTERIOR <br />WEST CANOPY: Rebar is exposed under the West canopy. <br /> <br /> <br />SOUTH CANOPY: The South canopy has experienced serious stntctural failure, and <br /> <br /> <br />is shored with temporary colunUls. <br /> <br />WEST ELEVATION: Indentation in the brick at approximate 9 feet elevation, center <br /> <br /> <br />ofthe annex wall. <br />NORTH WALL OF THE ANNEX: Needs cosmetic treatment at the previous junction <br />of adjacent building on the North side. <br />EAST WALL OF THE ANNEX: Concrete beam is spalled. <br /> <br />CONCLUSIONS <br />Taking into consideration the age and recent neglect ofthe building, the stntcture is in <br /> <br />fairly good condition. The only evidence of stmctural failure was in the roof framing of <br /> <br />the two story area over the "Century Room" , the South canopy, and the beams under the <br /> <br />sidewalk, on the West side of the basement. <br /> <br />6 <br />
