AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 1983 7:15 P.M. COX FIELD TERMINAL BLDG. The Airport Advisory Board met Tuesday, April 26, 1983 at 7:15 p.m. in the Cox Field Terminal Building. Board members present were: 1. Rick Rex - Chairman 2. Bill Boothe 3. Dr. Edward Keller 4. Kristina Campbell - Secretary Others present were: Thomas Kerr, Richard M. Maginn, Sandra Maginn, Joseph B. Bakewell, C. Huneycutt, Sonja Boothe, Melissa Mahan, Charles Cousin, Sue Cousin, Austin D. Ellis, Herbert H. Campbell, James A. Ellis, Uta Wegge, Doris Ellis, Sherri Babb, Rebecca Campbell, Mack Ross, Mr. & Mrs. T. Manus, Mickey Ross, Sue Thompson, Roger Boxwell and Peggy Ross. The minutes were approved as mailed with one correction: Item #3 under New Business. The first item under Terms for Land Rental should read: 1. The rental rate for the land for the hangars be $100.00 per year for the first five years thru 1988 to assist in offsetting the leasees capital expenditures for the concrete slab which becomes the City of Paris property, with the owner being granted four -five year options. Financial Report: The Board received copies of the Budget Report March 31, 1983, City of Paris, Cox Field, Airport Fund and the January, February and March 1983 Monthly Operations Reports for the City of Paris. Mr. Collier explained that the number of operations given in the Monthly Operations Report was just an average. The receipts for the month were from gas and hangar rentals. The Board discussed the possibility of receiving the receipt figure broken down in a more usable set of numbers. Mr. Collier stated that these figures could be obtained from the City Manager. Mrs. Campbell moved that a copy of the monthly budget report with the receipts be broken down into usable figures be requested from the City Manager. Mr. Boothe seconded. The motion carried 4 -0. A letter is to be written to Mr. Doty requesting the monthly budget receipts for the Airport. Review recommendations to City Council. Parking: Although Dr. Keller and Mrs. Campbell attended the City Council meeting covering the parking matter, April 11, 1983, neither could report on what action the Council had taken on the parking.
