The Board members agreed that they needed copies of City Council minutes each <br />month; those portions pertaining to the Airport, in order to know what actions <br />had been taken. <br />The Board also decided to request clarification on the No Parking request. <br />Mr. Collier reported a special road going through Loma Alta Ranch will be <br />made for emergency vehicles during the Airshow. <br />Road Surfaci n <br />Mrs. Campbell reported that Mr. Doty explained that the gravel road could <br />not be oiled or ashpalted because this would be a capital expenditure. Repairs <br />could come from items listed in the budget not shown as capital expenditures. <br />Any time a surface was changed or a building changed this represented a <br />capital expenditure, <br />It was noted the ashpalt apron on the gravel road approach to the back taxiway <br />had been repaired. <br />Dr. Keller's Hangar <br />The City Council, it was reported, had at their regular April meeting: <br />1. Approved the Board recommended site for portable hangars. <br />2. Approved the Port -a -Port hangar Dr. Keller proposed to build. <br />3. Did not set up a fee for the rental of land for the portable hangars and <br />no lease to be used. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Priorities on maintainance expenditures: Mr, Collier presented the Board <br />with a list of 24 items in order of priority, which include building main- <br />tenance and purchase needs. (Copy included). <br />Mr. Collier reported the 99'ers, a women's flying association, will paint <br />Cox Field and the field elevation on a central spot on the main taxiway. <br />They have requested 20 gallons of special marking paint from the Airport <br />Manager. <br />2. TAC Grant Status: Mr. Collier reported Mobil will be cutting 80 Octane <br />in June or July. The new tank to be installed will be increased in size for <br />100 low lead. <br />Bids are to be taken and opened May 4 at 10:00 A.M. for the new 200' of ramp. <br />This will be paid for by TAC money. <br />Mr. Boothe asked Mr. Collier if a line shack could be constructed as so as <br />the ramp and fuel pump are installed. <br />Mr. Collier replied money for a line shack would be a capital expenditure and <br />no money is budgeted for such an item in the current year's budget. <br />
