Mr. Sudduth stated
that the Airport Board's recommended MONTHLY RENTAL AGREEEMNT was evidently
ignored in the Council's approval of the lease already rejected.
Motion was made by Mr. Boothe, seconded by Mr. Sudduth.
In light of the prior unanimous rejection by the Airport Advisory Board of
the Hangar Lease Agreement adopted by the City Council in Resolution No. 83 -061,
the Board urges the Council to rescind Resolution 83 -061 and to adopt by
resolution the Monthly Rental Agreement unanimously recommended by the Board
on May 31, 1983. (A copy of this agreement is to be attached). Motion passed
5 - 0.
Mr. Sudduth asked to discuss the tie - agreement passed in Resolution 83 -061.
(Although not on the agenda the Chairman felt recommendations from the City
Council should be discussed along with recommendations to the City Council).
The Airport Manager was asked his opinion of tie -down fees. Mr. Collier said
he was against the fees because of lack of ramp space and lack of staff to
enforce any tie -down regulations.
