c. 26-9. Seniority pay. <br />Members of the police department below the rank of chief shall be entitled to receive seniority pay, on <br />the basis of time in service and rank achieved, said seniority pay to be in addition to each officer's base <br />pay as follows: <br />(1) For all non -ranking officers, seniority pay shall be added to each officer's base pay, based on the <br />following schedule of years in service to the city police department: <br />a. Officers with two (2) years of service and less than four (4) years of service - Thirty-five dollars <br />($35.00) per pay period. <br />b. Officers with four (4) years or more of service and less than six (6) years of service - Sixty-eight <br />dollars and sixty-one cents ($68.61) per pay period. <br />c. Officers with five (5) years or more of service and less than eight (8) years of service - Eighty-seven <br />and eighty-five cents ($87.85) per pay period. <br />d. Officers with eight (8) years or more of service and less than ten (10) years of service - One hundred <br />forty-five dollars and fifty-four cents ($145.54) per pay period. <br />e. Officers with ten (10) years or more of service and less than eleven (11) years of service - One <br />hundred eighty-six dollars and sixty-eight cents ($186.68) per pay period. <br />f. Officers with eleven (11) years or more of service - Two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00) per <br />pay period. <br />(2) All officers of the rank of sergeant, seniority pay shall be added to each sergeant's base pay, based <br />on the following schedule of time of service in rank: <br />a. For sergeants with less than two (2) years of service and not more than four (4) years - One <br />hundred forty two dollars and twenty cents ($142.206) per pay period. <br />For sergeants with four (4) and not more than eight (8) years of service - One hundred seventy <br />three dollars and eight cents ($173.08) per pay period. <br />C. For sergeants with eight (8) years of service - Two hundred ten dollars and twenty seven <br />($210.27) per pay period. <br />(3) For Lieutenants, seniority pay shall be added to each lieutenant's base pay, based on the following <br />schedule of time of service in rank: <br />
