Chairman Dux stated a motion to approve the replacement ofcanvasfabric on the <br />awnings with either a reinstallation of the original metal canopy structure or replacement <br />canopyfabric that is deteriorated on the current structure, and repair the rotten wood andpaint <br />the building as identified on the COA. Mr Watkins had submitted a numbered diagram with explanations of what the proposed <br />storefront measurements, materials and finishes would involve. Mrs. Emmite reviewed the <br />design with the commission and fielded questions. Chairman Dux explained there was evidence <br />of the original configuration of the storefhqnQz%�eo.��- <br />the commission was reviewing was a product of the Design Services offered by the Texas Main <br />Street Program. Commissioner Matthews suggested the applicant look at cypress wood for the <br />materials as it is rot resistant. Hearing no other questions, Commissioner Matthews made a <br />motion to approve the application as presented.
