Certificate of Appropriateness: Repair of windows Ms. Holtman came before the <br />Commission to request a COA for repair of some of the windows in her home at <br />722 Church Street. As far as she knows, these are the original windows in the <br />house. There is significant rot of the window frames. They will be replaced with <br />wood. On a motion by Commissioner Vandiver, seconded by Commissioner <br />Emmite, the COA was approved. Ayes 7; Nays 0. <br />b. Fagade Grant Request $2000. On a motion by Commissioner Emmite, seconded <br />by Commissioner Matthews, the Fagade Grant Request for $2,000 was approved. <br />Ayes 7; Nays 0. <br />6. Discussion and possible action on the following applications for the property located at <br />100 N. Main, Moore Law Firm- Jessica Holtman <br />Because she was representing the Moore Law Firm, Commissioner Holtman remained <br />recused. <br />7. <br />a. Certificate of Appropriateness: Window repair and repaint. Ms. Holtman, <br />representing the Moore Law Firm, located at 100 N. Main, requested approval of <br />a COA for repainting, using one of two approved colors. If any wood damage is <br />discovered during the painting, it will be repaired/replaced with wood. On a <br />motion by Commissioner Maatthews, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, the <br />motion to approve the COA passed. Ayes, 7; Nays 0. <br />b. Fagade Grant Request $5000. Ms. Holtman, on behalf of Moore Law Firm, <br />requested a Fagade Grant in the amount of $5,000 for the repainting.
