Discuss, conduct a public hearing and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2025-025: AN <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AS <br />HERETOFORE AMENDED TO CHANGE THE ZONING FOR THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />SPRINGLAKE ADDITION, BLOCK 8, LOT PART 1, LCAD PARCEL NO. 19800 <br />LOCATED AT 267 NE 28TIl STREET, FROM PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD) TO <br />GENERAL RETAIL (GR); PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE, A <br />SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, A PENALTY CLAUSE; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mr. Arno-Mensah explained that applicant was seeking a zoning change from a Planned <br />Development to General Retail to help expand the proposed three retail stores. Discuss, conduct a public hearing and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2025-026: AN <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1315, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, AS <br />HERETOFORE AMENDED, REGARDING DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS; <br />PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />City Engineer Todd Mittge explained that the City had engineering related ordinances <br />that were in need of update and this update specifically involved Exhibit 9A, Subdivision <br />Ordinance, IX Design or Improvements, Section D Street Pavement, Section E Drainage, and <br />Section G Water Distribution System. Mr. Mittge reviewed in detail the main provisions dealing <br />with the stormwater system, roadway construction, and water main size. <br />Mayor Pankaj opened the public hearing and asked for anyone wishing to speak about <br />this item, to please come forward.
