Building and Standards Meeting March 20, 2026 Page 3 D. 1705 E Booth; City Block 227-B, Lot 1-B Owner: Don Aubrey; 414 E Austin, Paris TX, 75460 Nicki Brown stated she spoke with Don Aubrey regarding the illegal structure on the property. There is junk and rubbish scattered throughout the property including but not limited to; litter, cardboard, tools, wood, and other scattered items that are being used to build an illegal structure. Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property, demolish structure, and removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. Motion made by Angie Briscoe, seconded by Morgan Cline, to follow staff recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 E. 1800 E Washington; City Block 252, Lot 6 Owner: Perry R Harmon; 1800 E Washington, Paris TX 75460 Nicki Brown stated there has been no contact with the property owner. The structure has missing and deteriorated wood, holes in the side of east and south wall, and is unsecure. There is junk and rubbish throughout the inside of the structure. Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property, demolish structure, and removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so. Motion made by Morgan Cline, seconded by Jesse Wallace Jr, to follow staff recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 F. 2206 W Austin; City Block 208, Lot 8 Owner: Christopher Redd; 841 17th SE Apt. B, Paris TX 75460 Nicki Brown stated there has been no contact with the property owner. The Structure has holes in the ceiling and roof. The outside of the structure is surrounded by overgrown vegetation There is junk and rubbish throughout the property. Nicki Brown's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, vacate property, demolish structure, and removal of junk and rubbish within 30 days, or the city has the right to do so.
