A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, DECLARING THE MAIN STREET DISTRICT AS A BLIGHTED AREA; DECLARING THE NEED FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SIDEWALKS IN CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE MAIN STREET DISTRICT IN ORDER TO ADDRESS ONE OF THE CONDITIONS WHICH QUALIFIES THE AREA AS A BLIGHT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Paris has heretofore declared the following area as the Main Street District (also shown in the map attached hereto as Exhibit A): BEGINNING at the intersection of Bonham Street and 12th Street S.W./N.W.; Thence traveling in a southerly direction along 12th Street S.W. to the intersection of W. Sherman Street and 12th Street S.W.; Thence traveling in an easterly direction along W. Sherman Street to the intersection of W. Sherman Street and 3rd Street S;E.; Thence traveling in a northerly direction along 3rd Street S.E. to the intersection of E. Austin Street and 3rd Street S.E.; Thence traveling in an easterly direction along E. Austin Street to the intersection ofE. Austin Street and 6th Street S.E.; Thence traveling in a northerly direction along 6th Street S.E./N.E. to the intersection ofE. Houston Street and 6th Street N.E.; Thence traveling in a westerly direction along E. Houston Street to the intersection ofE. Houston Street and 2nd Street N.E.; Thence traveling in a northerly direction along 2nd Street N.E. to the intersection ofE. Price Street and 2nd Street N.E.; Thence traveling in a westerly direction along E. Price Street to the intersection ofE.
