<br />district, shall have one-hundred percent (100%) of the total exterior walls above grade level, <br />excluding doors and windows, constructed of acceptable masonry wall construction. <br /> <br />Downtown. All structures in the area designated as the Central Area (CA) zoning district are <br />subject to the exterior design requirements in S 11.205 of the Code of Ordinances. <br /> <br />All Other Locations. The exterior walls on all other non-residential structures which face or side <br />any public street or single family zoning district, and at least 20% of the length of side elevations <br />extending back from the front elevation, shall have at least eighty percent (80%) of the total <br />exterior walls above grade level, excluding doors and windows, constructed of acceptable <br />masonry wall construction, in accordance with the City's building code and fire prevention code. <br /> <br />· Multi-family Uses <br />All principal multi-family buildings and structures shall have at least ninety percent (90%) of the <br />total exterior walls above grade level, excluding doors and windows, constructed of acceptable <br />masonry wall construction, in accordance with the City's building code and fire prevention code.. <br /> <br />. Churches <br />The exterior walls on churches, which face or side any public street, and at least 20% of the <br />length of side elevations extending back from the front elevation, shall have at least eighty <br />percent (80%) of the total exterior walls above grade level, excluding doors and windows, <br />constructed of acceptable masonry wall construction, in accordance with the City's building code <br />and fire prevention code. <br /> <br />· Exterior Metal Walls <br />Exterior metal walls shall include profiled panels, deep ribbed panels, and concealed fastener <br />systems. Exterior finish shall be film laminated or baked on enamel painted to the wall <br />manufacturer's standards. The use of corrugated metal, plastic, or fiberglass panels is prohibited. <br />The use of galvanized, aluminum coated, zinc-aluminum coated, or unpainted exterior metal <br />finish is prohibited. <br /> <br />EXEMPTIONS <br />The following are exempt from the provisions of this Ordinance: <br /> <br />· Single Family and Two Family homes and accessory buildings. <br /> <br />· Barns and farm accessory buildings if such buildings are used solely for agricultural purposes. <br /> <br />· Manufactured or Mobile homes otherwise lawfully existing under the provisions of the Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />· Remodeling activities that result in less than 50% of the modification or replacement of the <br />existing structure. <br /> <br />· Temporary buildings used for construction offices, and permitted for a limited period of time <br />by the Building Official. <br />
