survey, and we finish our initial goal of fixing the facade, Karol Lynn Moore seconded the <br />motion and it passed unanimously <br />Committee Reuorts <br />Organization Committee - Legal documents for Gateway Signs have been changed in order to <br />ease concerns of land owners. Some were concerned because the Gateways were permanent in <br />the past and this change has allowed the Gateways to be temporary. The Chamber of Commerce <br />has fled the way finding signs with TxDOT and should hear something saan. <br />Design Committee Report - This committee is currently working on where to place Parking <br />Signs. A quote of $300 for 5 signs has been given. The signs would go on excising poles. Pike <br />suggested giving the information to Shannon Barrentine at the Chamber to tie in with Way <br />Finding signs with TxDot for approval. Committee is also working on getting the electrical <br />outlets around the fountain fiunctioning for Christmas lights in trees. Matthew Coyle is warking <br />to get a quote to see the cost of this project. Research is also being put into getting Christmas <br />lights around buildings by Christmas this year. <br />Promotions Committee Report - Skate Day was held on March 22nd. It was a very successful <br />day and we received a lot of feedback from the kids. 3 entries are already being worked on for <br />the Student Film Festival for Ju1y. Keep Paris Beautiful is going to possibly be cosponsoring the <br />Film Festival with Main Street sponsoring a full length movie afterwards. <br />Economic Restructuring Cominittee Report - No report <br />Main Street ManaQer's Report <br />Farms are being worked on in order to help make Committee reports easier to file. <br />Restaurants are being scouted for powntown area. <br />Downtown Guides are firushed. <br />Bethany Golden, Main Street Manager, took the Phi Theta Gamma Group on a tour of Reep's <br />office furniture and home theater showroom. There were approximately 13 teachers in this <br />group. The purpose of the tour was to let them know what all is going on Downtown. <br />Still waiting on the final OK to do a press release about Grant for Sidewalks. <br />Reauest For Future Agenda Items <br />Brownfield Grant Information <br />Appoint new chairman for Economic Development Committee <br />Decisions about money raised from Archery Tournament Concessions <br />Adiournment <br />A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jennifer Long and seconded by Kari Daniel. <br />Motion passed unanimously.
