5. Consideration of and action on recommending approval of the.following request.for tax <br />exemption: <br />a. 112 S. Main Street - Mrs. Douglas Solomon - Motion was made by Susan <br />Scholz, seconded by Paul Denny, to recommend approval of the tax exemption. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />6. Discussion of and possible action regarding the.following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />Ciry of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled `Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and <br />Structures, "to determine whether such structures can be rehabilitated and designated on <br />the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as <br />historic properties as designated by the Citv Council of the City of Paris: <br />40 31 st Street N. W. <br />3044 Bonham Street <br />1180 19th Street N.W. <br />1630 W. Campbell <br />1440 W. Campbell <br />1636 W. Houston/232 ] 7th Street N.W. <br />35 13th Street N.W. <br />417 Graham Street <br />1560 Church Street <br />Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Nancy Partridge, to send all structures to <br />the Building and Standards Commission for demolition since they cannot be rehabilitated <br />nor do they have significant historical value. Motion carried 5-0. <br />7. Request items for future agendas. Items 3E and 3F <br />8.
