<br />SEC. 2. Any barber, or other person engaged in the busi-
<br />ness of barbering, who shall work at such trade on Sunday in the
<br />city of Paris, shall be fined in any sum not less than twenty dollars
<br />nor more than fifty dollars.
<br />SEC. 3. This ordinance to be in effect from and after its
<br />passage and ten days publication.

<br />SCHOOL HOUSE NOTE.

<br />AN ORDINANCE authorizing the issuance of the city's note for the purpose of blli1ùi"g
<br />, a school house.
<br />
<br />Be it ordained by the city council of the city of Paris:
<br />
<br />SEC.!. That there is hereby ordered issued the city's note
<br />for the sum of ten thousand dollars, bearing 8 per cent. interest
<br />per annum, the interest payable semi-annually or annually, as de-
<br />sired by pur'chaser, and one-tenth of the principal payable an-
<br />nually, the first payment to be made January Ist, 189I, the whole
<br />to become due in ten years from January 1st, 1890.
<br />SEC. 2. Said note shall be signed by the mayor and counter-
<br />signed by the city secretary, with the seal of the city affixed. Said
<br />note, when issued, shall be sold and the proceeds applied to the
<br />purpose of erecting a school building to be erected on what is
<br />known as the Graham lot.
<br />SEC. 3. That there is hereby appropriated out of the levy of
<br />advalorem taxes, made for the present year, and out of the current
<br />expense fund, two and one-half cents on each one hundred dollars
<br />worth of taxable property; said amount of said fund when collected,
<br />shall be by the treasurer set aside for tþe purpose of paying the
<br />first annual payment of said ,note and the first year's accrued inter-
