Section 307.4.1 and Section 307.4.2, shall be deleted. <br />Section 307.4, shall be amended by adding a new Section 307.4.1, <br />Trench Burns, to read as follows: <br />Trench burns shall be conducted in air curtain trenches <br />and in accordance with Section 307.2 and the State <br />requirements for trench burns. <br />Section 307.5, Attendance, shall be added to read as follows: <br />Open burning, trench fires, bonfires or recreational fires <br />shall be constantly attended until the fire is extinguished with <br />no remaining embers. A minimum of one portable fire <br />extinguisher complying with Section 906 with a minimum 4-A <br />rating or other approved on-site fire-extinguishing equipment, <br />such as dirt, sand, water barrel, garden hose, or water truck, <br />shall be available for immediate utilization. The fire- <br />extinguishing equipment that is available shall be comparable <br />to the size of the fire. <br />Section 308.3.1, Open flame cooking and heating devices, shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Open-flame cooking devices, charcoal grills, outdoor <br />fireplaces and other similar devices used for cooking, heating, <br />or any other purpose shall not be located or used on <br />combustible balconies, decks, or within 10 feet of combustible <br />construction. <br />Exceptions: <br />1. One- and two-family dwellings. <br />2. Where buildings, balconies and deck are protected by <br />an approved automatic sprinkler system. <br />Section 308.3.1.1, Liquefied-petroleum yas fueled cooking devices, shall <br />be amended to read as follows: <br />When permitted as listed in the exceptions of Section <br />308.3.1, LP-gas burners having an LP-gas container with a <br />water capaciry greater than 32 fluid ounces [nominal 1 pound <br />(0.454 kg) LP-gas capacity] shall not be located on combustible <br />11 <br />1 6V U6f) i <br />
