MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL <br />MEETING ROOM <br />PARIS. TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MAY 21, 2009 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Vic Ressler at 5:30 <br />p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Vic Ressler <br />Jack Ashmore <br />Bill Boothe <br />Glen Chapma.n <br />Pete Kampfer <br />Billy Copeland <br />The following members were absent: <br />None <br />B. Also present was Jeanna Scott, Administrative Assistant, Jerry Richey, Airport <br />Manager; and Edwin Pickle, City Councilman. <br />2. Approval of nzinutes.from previous meetings. (Febr-uary 12, 2009) <br />No action taken. <br />3. Discussion of and possible action on construction of new T-Hangers. <br />Pete Kampfer stated you need to build a compelling argument that it is viable to have new <br />hangars to attract more activity. Feasibility study should be done to justify existing <br />hangars plus new hangars. Pete Kampfer further stated in order to advance project find <br />somebody to do an impact study that would show there is a need for additional hangars. <br />Motion was made by Bill Boothe, seconded by Jack Ashmore to request the City budget <br />funds for a feasibility study for new t-hangars. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Discussion of and possible action on recommending items to be included in the Airport <br />Master Plan. <br />Motion was by Jack Ashmore, seconded by Billy Copeland for the Master Plan to include <br />a feasibility study for additional hangars plus an economic study for the airport. Motion <br />camed unanimously. <br />" 000022 <br />
