Utilities. <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Director of Public Works, <br />who will prepare and maintain Annex L(Energy and Utilities) to this plan and <br />supporting SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Prioritize restoration of utility service to vital facilities and other facilities. <br />b) Arrange for the provision of emergency power sources where required. <br />c) Identify requirements for emergency drinking water and portable toilets to the <br />department or agency responsible for mass care. <br />d) Assess damage to, repair, and restore public utilities. <br />e) Monitor recovery activities of privately owned utilities. <br />f. Resource Management. <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the City of Paris Warehouse <br />Director, who will prepare and maintain Annex M(Resource Management) to this <br />plan and supporting SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintain an inventory of emergency resources. <br />b) During emergency operations, locates supplies, equipment, and personnel to <br />meet specific needs. <br />c) Maintain a list of suppliers for supplies and equipment needed immediately <br />in the aftermath of an emergency. <br />d) Establish emergency purchasing procedures and coordinate emergency <br />procurements. <br />e) Establish and maintain a manpower reserve and coordinate assignment of <br />reserve personnel to departments and agencies that require augmentation. <br />fl Coordinate transportation, sorting, temporary storage, and distribution of <br />resources during emergency situations. <br />g) Establish staging areas for resources, if required. <br />h) During emergency operations, identify to the Donations Management <br />Coordinator those goods, services, and personnel that are needed. <br />i) Maintain records of emergency-related expenditures for purchases and <br />personnel. <br />Ver 2.0 BP'21 <br />05/05 <br />
