g. Human Services. <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Salvation Army. Prepare <br />and maintain Annex O(Human Services) to this plan and supporting SOPs <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Identify emergency feeding sites. <br />b) Identify sources of clothing for disaster victims. <br />c) Secure emergency food supplies. <br />d) Coordinate the operation of shelter facilities, whether operated by local <br />government, local volunteer groups, or organized disaster relief agencies <br />such as the American Red Cross. <br />e) Coordinate special care requirements for disaster victims such as the aged, <br />special needs individuals, and others. <br />fl Coordinate the provision of disaster mental health services to disaster <br />victims, emergency workers, and/or others suffering trauma due to the <br />emergency incident/disaster. <br />h. Hazard Mitigation. <br />1) The primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the City of Paris <br />Engineer, who will prepare and maintain Annex P(Hazard Mitigation) to this plan <br />and supporting SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintain the local Hazard Analysis. <br />b) Identify beneficial pre-disaster hazard mitigation projects and seek approval <br />from local officials to implement such projects. <br />c) In the aftermath of an emergency, determine appropriate actions to mitigate <br />the situation and coordinate implementation of those actions. <br />d) Coordinate and carry out post-disaster hazard mitigation program. <br />i. Transportation. <br />1) The primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the City of Paris Public <br />Works, who will prepare and maintain Annex S(Transportation) to this plan and <br />supporting SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Identifies local public and private transportation resources and coordinates <br />their use in emergencies. <br />b) Coordinates deployment of transportation equipment to support emergency <br />operations. <br />c) Establishes and maintains a reserve pool of drivers, maintenance personnel, <br />parts, and tools. <br />Ver 2.0 BP"22 <br />05/05 <br />
