The Sales Representative is not an agent or employee of Seller and is not authorized fo enter into any agreement on Se/ier's <br />behalf or bind Seller in any way. <br />Smith & Loveless Model 12 PISTA9 Grit Chamber mechanism suitable for installation in a concrete structure <br />12'-0" diameter x 6'-6" deep with a concentric 5'-0" diameter x 6-2" deep grit well and concrete bridge - concrete <br />structure by others. <br />The PISTAO Grit Chamber mechanism shall include a helical gear reducer driven by 1 HP, 3/60/460 voit TEFC <br />motor, spur gear final drive head, steel air bell, steel propeiler, steel drive tube, top mounting Turbo grit pump, <br />second stage PISTA8' grit concentrator, steel inlet baffle, steel grit pump suction pipe, grit discharge pinch valve, <br />steel grit fluidizer, vacuum priming controis in a NEMA 4X stainiess steel enclosure, automatic electrical controls <br />in a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure, steel removable grit well cover piates and accessories as described <br />herein. <br />Thd'Turbo pump shali be capabie of delivering 250 GPM with a maximum static suction lift of 20' and driven by a. <br />5 HP, 1170 RPM, 3/60/460 volt TEFC motor. End user to provide adequate drawings for manufacturer to confirm <br />head requirements and model of grit pump. <br />ACCESSORIES <br />One - Dewatering screw grit classifier assembly: S&L Model 15, 1 HP, 3160/460 volt TEFC drive motor, gear <br />reducer, 9" ciiameter screw, screw trough, inlet hopper, supported on angle iron legs to provide an incline of <br />approximately 220. Hopper and trough covers are included. Entire unit to be fabricated from epoxy coated steel. <br />NOTE: As a separate price add, selier has included the option of providing a Modei 250 grit washer, complete <br />with NEMA 4X controls in lieu of the Model 15 grit classifier. For proper operation, this unit will require a flush <br />water supply of 20 GPM @ 60 PSI, air supply of 5 SCFH @ 70 PSI, and will utilize a 3 HP drive motor. <br />CORROSION PROTECTION: <br />All fabricated non-stainless steel components shail be commercial blasted and prime coated by the Manufacturer <br />with one 3-mil DFT coat of red oxide primer prior to shipment. All motors and gearboxes shall be furnished with <br />the original manufacturer's coating. Final touch up and finish coating shall be the responsibility of the purchasing <br />contractor. <br />Approximate total weight of equipment: 5000 ibs. <br />Approximate weight of heaviest piece: 1000 Ibs. <br />Approximate weight of grit classifier: 2200 Ibs. <br />
