AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO TRANSFER THE HUMAN RESOURCES POSITION TO THE FINANCE/PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT; TRANSFER UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCES FROM THE CITY MANAGER DEPARTMENT TO THE FINANCE/PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the Human Resources position to be transferred to the Finance/Personnel Department; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires certain expense outlay accounts in the 2010-11 fiscal year budget to be reduced in the City Manager's office as follows: CITY MANAGER 1. Salaries & Wages 01-0101-12-00 $ 39,924 2. Social Security 01-0102-12-00 $ 3,054 3. TMRS 01-0103-12-00 $ 4,507 4. Hosp/Life/Disab. Ins. 01-0104-12-00 $ 5,226 5. Worker's Comp. Ins. 01-0105-12-00 $ 176 6. Unemployment Comp. 01-0106-12-00 $ 90 TOTAL $52,977 WHEREAS, the City Council desires certain expense outlay accounts in the 2010-11 fiscal year budget to be increased in the Finance/Personnel office as follows: FINANCE/PERSONNEL 1.
