<br />7. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />September 8, 2004 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />District No.9 (HD) on the North Part of Lot 1, City Block 154, being <br />located at 625 Washington Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve as Historic Overlay District No.9 by <br />Benny Plata, seconded by Brad Archer. Motion carried by a vote of 7 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission for a change in zoning to include a Historic Overlay <br />District No. 10 (HD) on Part of Lot 1, City Block 127, being located at <br />1033 Bonham Street. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Mr. Arvin Starrett, Chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission, <br />stated that this is the only remaining building of the Old Sanitarium, <br />Children's Hospital. Dr. Hayden has been in communication with Coca <br />Cola Bottling Company. He wants to use the structure for a medical <br />museum of Lamar County. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission for a change in zoning to include a Historic Overlay <br />District No. 10 (HD) on Part of Lot 1, City Block 127, being located at <br />1033 Bonham Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve as Historic Overlay District No.9 by Carl <br />Lucas, seconded by Brad Archer. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes <br />and 1 nay, Benny Plata. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission for a change in zoning to include a Historic Overlay <br />District No. 11 (HD) on Lot 2, City Block 79, being located at 744 3rd <br />Street NW. <br />
